The versatile Johnny Brown began taking music lessons at age 13 from Kelly's Studio. From, there, he started out playing with the Country Gentlemen and performed with them for about five years.

During his career, Johnny has had the privilege of performing as the opening act and functioned as the back-up band for dozens of major artists, including: Percy Sledge, the Drifters, The Tams, The Platters, T Graham Brown, Barbara Mandrill, Matty Winer, Nappy Brown, the late Ricky Nelson, and Archie Bell just to name a few. His travels have included bookings both nationally and internationally such as Chateau Elan - Braselton, Georgia; Calloway Gardens - Pine Mountain, Georgia; The DeSoto Hilton - Savannah, Georgia; The Grove Park Inn - Ahseville, North Carolina; Atlantic City Casinos; Bay Pointe Country Club - Panama City, Florida; The Waverly Hotel and Casino - San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Johnny's dream was to always have his own band, and he started putting the Still Cruzin' Band together in about 1980, but finally got it established in 1985. His plan was for the band to perform what the people wanted to hear, and in the past 20 years, he has kept the same format of good music and entertainment.

Today, Johnny considers himself fortunate enough to have some of the best musicians and agencies to make Still Cruzin' so successful

Greg Holbrook
Saxophone, Vocals

At a young age, Greg knew music would always play an important part of his life. Musical instruction began at the "Big A" Elementary school in Toccoa, Georgia. There he began playing the alto saxophone. His band director, Bob Presley, had a great influence on Greg's desire and determination.

After elementary school, Greg attended Stephens County High School in Eastanollee, Georgia. Greg was placed into the senior marching/concert band, playing the baritone saxophone where he excelled under the tutelage of Bob Presley, and soon found himself placed in the Student Director/Teacher Program which allowed him to instruct younger band members.

After college, Greg took a hiatus from playing instruments and concentrated on honing his vocal skills. During that time, Greg sang with church choirs, quartets, at weddings and in community chorus.

Greg Holbrook has now come back with a vengeance! He is playing baritone and tenor saxophones, and singing with the great Still Cruzin' group, the party band of the South! During Greg's career with Still Cruzin' he has had the opportunity to play with numerous musical greats such as Archie Bell and The Tams.

Greg considers it a privilege to be associated with the fine musicians that make up the group, Still Cruzin'.

Marvin Koerber
Trumpet, Flugel Horn, Percussion, Keyboards and Vocals

Marvin started his musical career at the young age of 7 years old growing up in a family of deeply-rooted musicians. His grandfather performed some with Lawrence Welk. Marvin stayed focused in his growing years with a very dedicated training routine, practicing daily and playing in many community and high school bands and symphony orchestras.

During his college years, Marvin had the opportunity to perform with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, Carowinds, Opryland, and the legendary Billy Joel.

Over Marvin's long term professional career he has shared the stage with many great performers such as: The Shirelles, Bill Pinkney and The Original Drifters, J. D. Summer and The Stamps, Percy Sledge, Ben E. King, The Impressions, Marie Osmond, Billy Joe Royal, Archie Bell and Clifford Curry, just to name a few.

Marvin's multi-talented musicianship and gracious camaraderie tantalizes the audiences and adds great strength and depth to the dynamite "Cruzin Horn Section."

Tico Manley
Lead Guitarist

In 1995, at the age of 20, Tico began taking guitar lessons from the late Bernard Sherard. (Mr. Sherard was once a member of Still Cruzin'.) Being Bernard's protege aided in molding Tico into a lead guitarist, rhythm player, and versatile musician, as well as helping develop an "ear" for music. The hard work, dedication, and love of music instilled by Mr. Sherard inspired Tico to continue studying and playing music.

Tico made his first debut two months after beginning his lessons, an accomplishment befitting his talent. He started out playing gospel music, then broadening his skills by learning and playing other styles, such as: contemporary gospel, jazz, R&B, and country. Tico has also had the honor of playing with well known, Stellar and Grammy Award winning artists Canton Spirituals, Slim and the Supreme Angels, Doc McKenzie, Gospel Kenotes, and Donald Lawrence and Tri-City.

Tico's musical talents have matured over the course of five years since beginning the study of music theory. That maturity is a direct product of his dedication to make time to practice two to three hours in the evenings and before starting a day of teaching lessons. Tico is presently a full time guitar instructor teaching students from ages seven and up.

Tico looks forward to playing with Still Cruzin' in 2006. He feels the experience will help him develop as a musician as well as meet a host of other talented artists.
